Portable and Charles Okocha at the celebrity boxing match.
Portable, the Nigerian street-pop artist, won the celebrity boxing match against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha on Wednesday.
The fight, approved by Heritage Boxing Entertainment, took place at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos State. It began after 1 am and lasted for about 40 minutes.
They sorted out their problems by fighting with their fists after Portable accused Okocha of breaking a contract. This started an online argument over a supposed N40m scam. Portable said Okocha didn’t give him the full amount as per their agreement.
Even though Portable didn’t win by knockout or points, he still got the victory. This made him the champion and proved he deserved it in the tough fight.
