Trump is now selling ‘God Bless the USA’ Bibles for $60, urging for a revival of prayer in America to address his escalating legal bills.

Donald Trump, the former US president vying for a return to the White House, has begun selling Bibles.

The presumptive Republican nominee shared a video on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday, March 26, encouraging his supporters to buy the “God Bless The USA Bible,” inspired by country singer Lee Greenwood’s patriotic song.

Trump frequently features the song at his rallies and has made appearances with Greenwood at various events.

In a recent message, Trump wrote, “Happy Holy Week! Let’s Make America Pray Again.” He encouraged his followers to purchase the God Bless the USA Bible, especially as the nation approaches Good Friday and Easter. The book is available for $59.99 on a designated website.

This initiative comes at a time when Trump is grappling with financial strain due to mounting legal expenses.

He is currently facing four criminal indictments and numerous civil charges.

Trump received temporary relief on Monday when a New York appeals court agreed to delay collecting the more than $454 million he owes from a civil fraud judgment.

However, the court stipulated that he must provide $175 million within 10 days to qualify for the reprieve.

Trump has already posted a $92 million bond in connection with defamation lawsuits filed by writer E. Jean Carroll, who accused him of sexual assault.

“In a video posted on Truth Social, Trump emphasized the importance of every American having a Bible in their home, stating, “It’s my favorite book.” He expressed pride in endorsing and encouraging the acquisition of this Bible, advocating for a resurgence of prayer in America.

Market itself as “the only Bible endorsed by President Trump!” the website of this new venture describes it as “Easy-to-read,” featuring “large print” and a “slim design” that facilitates exploration of God’s Word anytime, anywhere.

Alongside the King James Version translation, it includes excerpts of significant American documents such as the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance, as well as a handwritten excerpt from Greenwood’s renowned song.

This Bible represents Trump’s latest commercial endeavor amidst his campaign activities. Recently, he introduced a new line of Trump-branded sneakers, including the $399 gold “Never Surrender High-Tops,” at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia.

Additionally, through the venture 45Footwear, Trump markets other Trump-branded footwear, cologne, and perfume.

Furthermore, Trump has ventured into the world of NFTs, reporting earnings of between $100,000 and $1 million last year from a series of digital trading cards portraying him in various cartoon-like roles, including an astronaut, a cowboy, and a superhero.”
