Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has appointed Pelumi Nubi, a 28-year-old travel content creator, as the state tourism ambassador.
This announcement was made by the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril Gawat, via a tweet on Monday.
Nubi, who recently completed her solo road trip from London, United Kingdom, to Lagos, Nigeria, was warmly received at the Nigeria-Benin Republic border by the state Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs.
Toke Benson-Awoyinka, and the Special Adviser, Tourism, Arts and Culture, Idris Aregbe, on behalf of the Lagos State Government.
