Once More, Truck Damages Height Barrier in Lagos.

A truck once more collided with a height barrier at Ojuelegba in Lagos State.

On Saturday, a truck once more collided with a height barrier at Ojuelegba in Lagos State. This information was disclosed in a post on X by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority on the same day.

The post read, “The Ojuelegba Bridge barrier has been destroyed by another truck. Men are on ground for evacuation.”

Reports indicate that both a containerized truck on October 3 and a trailer on October 8 damaged height restriction barriers at Ojuelegba in Lagos State. Furthermore, an empty tanker reportedly destroyed a recently constructed truck barrier at the tip of Dormanlong Bridge heading toward Ojuelegba on Christmas Eve.

In a December 23 statement, the Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, affirmed the Lagos State government’s commitment to prosecute drivers responsible for damaging truck barriers installed at different locations across the state.
