Nollywood veteran Amaechi Muonagor, aged 61, passed away today, March 24, reportedly due to kidney-related issues, diabetes, and stroke.
Despite battling health challenges, including partial paralysis resulting from a stroke in 2023, he continued treatments such as weekly dialysis and physiotherapy.
Sadly, his demise follows a recent plea for financial aid for a kidney transplant. Muonagor was renowned for his roles in numerous Nigerian films, notably in “Aki and Paw Paw” as the mischievous boys’ father.
He leaves behind his wife, Hope Chikodi Muonagor, and their children. Fans are mourning his loss.
