Man who murdered his older brother over property in Niger State captured in photo

Abubakar Sani, aged 30, was apprehended by Niger State Police for the murder of Kabir Sani in Gawu-Babangida, Gurara Local Government Area.

Reports indicate that a dispute erupted between the siblings regarding their late father’s assets, leading Abubakar to repeatedly strike his elder brother.

Despite attempts by neighbors and bystanders to intervene, Abubakar thwarted their efforts by striking anyone who attempted to interfere with the large stick he wielded.

Abubakar relentlessly assaulted his deceased brother, targeting all parts of his body, particularly his head, until he succumbed to severe injuries.

Abubakar attempted to flee the scene following the incident, but several villagers apprehended him and turned him over to the police.

The critically injured body of Kabir, aged 34, was swiftly transported to the Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Gawu Babangida, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
