LP chairman Abure house in Abuja was consumed by fire.

The Labour Party (LP) announced that its National Chairman, Julius Abure, experienced a fire incident at his residence on Wednesday, April 3, along with an alleged assassination attempt.

According to the National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, the fire broke out around 1 am while Abure and his family were asleep.

Reportedly, neighbors and security personnel alerted the family, who were initially trapped by the flames.

Fortunately, with the assistance of neighbors and security personnel, they managed to escape through a window. The fire service arrived after the evacuation.

Abure and his family were subsequently taken to a private hospital for treatment, where they are reported to be in stable condition.
