EFCC detains Bobrisky for misusing Nigerian currency.


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended and held Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, for offenses related to abusing the Nigerian currency, spraying naira notes, and damaging currency.

Bobrisky, known for his controversial activities, was arrested in Lagos on Wednesday evening and is currently detained at the Lagos Command of the EFCC. EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale confirmed the incident in a telephone conversation on Thursday, stating that Bobrisky would face charges in court.

Bobrisky, who has been involved in various controversies recently, was arrested in Lagos on Wednesday night and is currently held at the Lagos Command of the EFCC.

Confirming the incident in a telephone interview on Thursday, EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale stated that Bobrisky would face charges in court.

Oyewale emphasized the seriousness of restoring the dignity of the naira, adding that although investigations are ongoing, Bobrisky will be brought before the court soon.
