A teacher, who has been accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with her 12-year-old student, recently announced that she is expecting a baby.

“In late September 2023, Alissa McCommon, a 38-year-old resident of Covington, Tennessee, was apprehended and accused of child sexual assault following her online interaction with a young boy through SnapChat.

The ex-fourth grade teacher from Charger Academy appeared in court on Tuesday, October 3, where the proceedings centered on a sequence of text messages and phone calls reportedly exchanged between the mother of two and the victim.

During a particular conversation, the educator revealed her pregnancy, expressing her readiness to welcome her third child into the world.

“I’m going to raise this baby. I can do this,” she stated on the recording played in court.

Earlier, she cautioned the boy that he would later feel remorseful for reporting their relationship to the police.

Official confirmation from authorities about McCommon’s pregnancy, as well as any information regarding the possibility of the 12-year-old boy being the father, has not been provided yet.

In another text message, she subtly suggested the possibility of her pregnancy.. “I have to tell you something that is serious and huge that deals with you,” s reported by the local news source, Fox 13, she wrote.

“This was a mistake, this is my burden. OMG delete this number, please don’t get me in trouble,” another alleged text from McCommon read. “I will never text you again. You will never hear from me again, just please don’t say anything,”The former teacher’s voice was allegedly captured on an audio recording, as reported.

Alissa McCommon was dismissed from her job as a teacher in Charger Academy at the beginning of 2021 after she was allegedly accused of having s3xual affair with the ex-student in her home.

It was reported she had involved in several s3xual activities with several students which included sending of naked pictures of herself and requesting them to have sexual intercourse with her, according to Covington Police Department.

McCommon has been re-incarcerated in the Tipton County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court again on Monday, November 27th.
