The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended Roland Raymond, aged 32 and residing in Detti village, Ganye LGA, for criminal intimidation linked to kidnapping.
This action followed a report by Alhaji Yahya Congo and Abraham Paul, who claimed that Raymond demanded 600,000 Naira from them over the phone, threatening kidnapping if they refused.
Upon receiving the complaints, the Ganye Division police, along with local hunters, swiftly arrested Raymond while he was attempting to collect the ransom.
Confirming the arrest, the command’s spokesperson stated that Raymond will be prosecuted after further investigation.
