Princess Adeola Ogunwusi, daughter of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, pushed back against critics who condemned her for wearing a bikini.
Adeola, based in Canada, posted pictures of herself in a blue bikini while on a boat.
However, many individuals expressed their opinions, with some suggesting that her behavior was inappropriate for someone of royal descent.
In response, she countered, stating, “‘You are from a royal family; you should not post such pictures.’ Why is it that when it comes to bikini pictures, you suddenly remember that I am from a royal family? When I’m working a 9-5 in -20 degrees in Canada, does anyone remember that I am from a royal family? Or do royal families work 9-5 jobs?”
In another tweet, she reiterated, “Once again, I am not the one. Leave me alone.”
