Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, Showcases Musical Talents at Soun of Ogbomoso’s Coronation”
On the occasion of the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye’s Coronation, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State entertained the audience with his singing and dancing.
The ceremony, held at Ogbomoso Township Stadium in Oyo State, saw Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde presenting the Instrument of Office and Staff of Office to Oba Ghandi Olaoye.
Reports indicate that Governor Makinde sanctioned the selection of Oba Olaoye from Olaoye Ruling House on September 2.
The kingmakers, led by High Chief Sobalaje Otolorin, officially installed him as the new Soun of Ogbomoso on September 8. Dignitaries present at the presentation included Ooni of Ife, Olu of Warri, former Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Olubadan of Ibadanland, former Minister of Information Lai Muhammed, and other prominent Nigerians.
