In Riverview Road, Ottawa, South Africa, a landlord tragically lost his life at the hands of a tenant on Sunday, October 15. According to sources, a concerned neighbor reached out to Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) around 14:36 upon learning of this dreadful incident.
As per police reports, the property owner had confronted the tenant about overdue rent payments, which escalated into a heated verbal dispute.
In a shocking turn of events, the tenant left the premises, only to return with two other men. They brutally stabbed the victim multiple times before making a hasty escape on foot.
After hearing the victim’s cries for help during the stabbing, fellow tenants at the property promptly reached out to the police.
The police has commenced an investigation into the incident.
