Today, Atiku Abubakar is set to host a global media event, where he will speak directly to the Nigerian people following the revelation that President Bola Tinubu’s credentials, submitted to INEC, were disavowed by Chicago State University (CSU).
Remember that Atiku, the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the 2023 election, had asked for Tinubu’s educational documents from CSU.
He sought to compare them with the ones Tinubu submitted to INEC for the 2023 presidential election.
The information disclosed by CSU verified Bola Tinubu’s enrollment as a student at the institution, starting in 1977 and completing his studies in 1979.
Nevertheless, these findings sparked numerous inquiries.
Critics highlighted a discrepancy in Tinubu’s claim; the document indicated he graduated from Government College Lagos in 1970, yet the school itself was established in 1974, raising doubts about the accuracy of the provided information.
