Queen Camilla mentioned that King Charles is ‘doing very well. The Queen spent some time at shops along Lisburn Road in the Northern Ireland capital earlier in the day.
During a visit to The Arcadia deli, shop assistant Brenda Robb handed over a get-well card for Charles and conveyed her best wishes.
Later, King Charles was seen departing Clarence House, his Westminster residence, escorted by police cars.
He has been absent from public duties since January as he undergoes treatment for an unspecified form of cancer, while Princess Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, also takes time to recover from a health issue.
