Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to embark on a visit to Nigeria for a series of ‘Cultural Activities.

Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, are rumored to be planning a visit to Nigeria for the country’s “cultural activities,” as reported by the Daily Mail.

This trip is expected to follow shortly after the duke’s visit to the UK for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

The couple, now non-working royals, is said to have accepted an invitation from Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Gwabin Musa, during their visit to Germany last September.

They are scheduled to meet with service members and their families and partake in ‘traditional cultural activities’.

Reports from local newspapers indicate that Harry and Meghan’s acceptance of the invitation, marking their first visit to Nigeria as a couple, has left the country’s defence headquarters feeling ‘honoured’ and ‘delighted’.

Meghan shared in 2022 that she discovered she is 43 percent Nigerian after taking a genealogy test ‘a couple of years ago’.

During a conversation on her podcast Archetypes with Nigerian-American comedian Ziwe Fumudoh, she expressed her intention to delve deeper into her heritage, noting the surprise reactions she received, particularly from Nigerian women.

Their visit is scheduled to take place shortly after Harry’s trip to Britain for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
