Lagos Residents Face Hardship as Fuel Scarcity Leaves Them Stranded

Nigerians across Lagos and beyond found themselves stranded on Monday due to widespread fuel shortages.

Images from various bus stops in Lagos depict commuters enduring long waits for buses.

Additionally, many were seen resorting to walking as an alternative means of reaching their destinations.

Several filling stations remained closed over the weekend, while those that did open faced extensive queues of vehicles seeking fuel.

Meanwhile, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) predicts that the fuel scarcity will persist for another two weeks.
