NOUN 2022/2023 Post UTME Requirements for Registration

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the National Open University of Nigeria, Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduates, and Postgraduate programs for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Only students who choose the National Open University of Nigeria as their first choice in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and score the required JAMB cut-off mark for the National Open University of Nigeria are eligible to apply for admission (for UTME and Direct Entry Candidates). NOUN cut-off mark for admission into the institution is 180.

In addition, candidates must obtain at least FIVE CREDIT passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings. However, credit in Mathematics is not compulsory for all courses offered in NOUN.

All aspiring students are advised to adhere strictly to the guidelines and obtain necessary clarifications. Also, candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise will not be considered for admission.

How to Apply for NOUN Admission Form 2022/2023

1. Visit NOUN Admission portal via www.nouonline.net
2. On the Home Page, go to the Menu Bar and click on ‘Apply for Admission’
3. Select either Undergraduate Programme, or Postgraduate Programme.
4. Go to “Choose Faculty” (note it can be found at the left hand side of the screen)
5. Select Faculty
6. Fill displayed form
7. Click below to view admission criteria
8. Click “Apply” to proceed.
9. Take note of the UNIQUE ID displayed
10. Click the ‘Continue’ button
11. Select Bank Branch as payment type
12. Click “Pay”
13. Copy and take your RRR number to any bank branch for payment.

After payment

1. Perform steps 1 to 3
2. Go to “Continue After Payment”
3. Input Unique ID, RRR number and Programme
4. Click “Proceed”
5. Fill Form.  Note: all fields marked with a red star are compulsory.

After filling form

1. Click “Submit”
2. Print Admission Letter
3. Visit the nearest study centre for screening
