Nigerian Man Offers $2000 Reward to Find Thief Who Stole $30,000 from Him

A Nigerian man has issued a $2000 reward for information leading to the apprehension of an individual accused of defrauding him and his friends of over N42 million (approximately $30,000 USD).

Speaking via X.com, he disclosed the suspect’s fraudulent activities, which began when the suspect moved into his Lagos apartment.

The victim recounted how the suspect fabricated stories of financial hardship, including problems with the Federal Inland Revenue Services, to elicit sympathy and financial aid.

Their initial connection was formed through an online gaming platform, where the suspect presented himself as a skilled 3D and Motion Artist.

Despite multiple red flags, including failed computer rental transactions and fabricated medical emergencies involving the suspect’s nephew, the victim and his friends were deceived into providing financial assistance.

The victim shared transaction receipts and urged the public to assist in identifying the perpetrator.
