Michael Ilesanmi, a Nigerian reality star known for his appearance on “90 Day Fiancé” alongside his American partner Angela Deem, has been located after being reported missing for several days.
Angela Deem took to TikTok on Monday, February 26, to seek help in finding her husband, who had gone missing since Friday, February 23, shortly after his relocation to the United States from Nigeria in December 2023.
Angela expressed concerns as Michael was without his phone, wallet, or ID.
Following the report, authorities were notified, and a search was initiated. Hours later, it was confirmed that Michael had been found safe and sound.
However, the circumstances surrounding his disappearance shocked many of his followers, as Michael revealed that he left out of fear for his safety.
According to a report from John Yates’s YouTube channel, Michael contacted the Hazlehurst, Georgia, police department to disclose his whereabouts and the reason behind his disappearance.
Subsequently, Angela was informed by the authorities that Michael had been located.
Michael Ilesanmi revealed that he departed from his wife’s residence on Friday evening due to concerns for his safety.
The TLC reality star admitted to possessing a hidden cell phone unknown to his wife, Angela Deem.
According to reports from Starcasm, Michael also conveyed to the authorities his desire to keep his whereabouts undisclosed to Angela Deem.
After receiving the call from the police, Angela Deem was said to be furious. Allegedly, she acknowledged that Michael had departed from their Georgia home at her request.
“I asked him to leave because he doesn’t love me,” she stated regarding Michael. “And then he vanished. That’s the extent of it.”
Following the confirmation of Michael’s safety, Angela provided new details and accused her husband of being gay.
She revealed that they were experiencing relationship difficulties, including not being intimate, which led her to suspect Michael’s sexual orientation.
Angela expressed her acceptance of the situation, stating, “I think that he’s really hiding he’s gay. And it’s OK.
I said, ‘You’re in the US now, Michael’.” Additionally, Angela expressed her anger towards Michael and issued a threat, claiming she now knows his whereabouts and suggesting that he will be encountered by immigration authorities soon.
Angela cited contractual obligations with “90 Day Fiance” as limiting her ability to disclose further details about their troubled marriage.
