Kremlin Rejects Reports of Russian President’s Death at Valdai Forest Palace.

Kremlin

The Kremlin has refuted claims that the Russian president passed away at his opulent Valdai forest residence last night, asserting that Vladimir Putin is alive.

The Kremlin has strongly criticized the ‘false claims’ that a 71-year-old Vladimir Putin had ‘passed away at his lavish Valdai forest residence,’ in the midst of allegations of a ‘coup’ unfolding in Moscow.

This development follows an announcement from a Telegram channel, which has long asserted that the Russian leader was suffering from cancer and had a terminal illness, declaring Putin’s demise.

Additionally, the report alleged that a ‘coup’ was in progress within Russia, suggesting that Putin’s close associates might be attempting to present his ‘body double’ as the authentic president.

However, Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s spokesperson, stated to the state media outlet RIA Novosti that the report was a ‘baseless and ludicrous piece of misinformation.’

Earlier in the week, he emphatically refuted the notion that Putin had experienced a heart attack over the preceding weekend and categorically dismissed claims that the Russian president employed a look-alike.

The complete Telegram post stated: ‘Important notice! An ongoing coup is taking place in Russia!

‘Russian President Vladimir Putin passed away this evening at his Valdai residence.

‘At 20.42 Moscow time, medical professionals ceased resuscitation efforts and officially confirmed his demise.

At present, medical professionals find themselves confined within the room alongside Putin’s lifeless body, being held by members of the presidential security service.

This action has been carried out on the personal orders of Dmitry Kochnev, the director of the Federal Guard Service. He maintains direct communication and is receiving directives from Nikolai Patrushev, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.

Security measures for the president’s doppelgänger have been significantly heightened.

Active negotiations are currently in progress.

Any endeavor to present a double as the president following Putin’s passing is tantamount to an act of insurrection.

Nikolai Patrushev, aged 72, serves as the Secretary of Russia’s influential Security Council and holds the position of the top intelligence advisor to Putin.

The Telegram channel has persistently asserted that he is a leading contender to succeed the president, but there is speculation that he may harbor ambitions for his son, Dmitry Patrushev, aged 46, who serves as the Minister of Agriculture.

The channel has maintained for several months that Putin has been unwell and has been substituted by individuals trained by security agencies, who have undergone plastic surgery to resemble the Russian leader.

Valery Solovey, a former faculty member at the renowned Institute of International Relations in Moscow, a renowned institution for training intelligence operatives and diplomats, has also endorsed this identical theory.

He recently stated, ‘The fact is that the current President Vladimir Putin is living out the last days of his earthly life.’

Lt-Gen Kyrylo Budanov, the leader of Ukrainian military intelligence, has claimed that the genuine Putin has not made a public appearance since June 2022.
