Kenyan authorities have apprehended Brian Mwenda, a fraudulent individual posing as a lawyer, who managed to secure 26 courtroom victories while falsely presenting himself as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
According to reports, Mwenda handled 26 cases before High Court Judges, Magistrates, and Court of Appeal Judges, winning each one. His arrest transpired following public complaints, leading to the intervention of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) Nairobi Branch Rapid Action Team (RAT), for his false pretenses.
Nairobi Branch revealed on their official account that he lacks the credentials to practice law in Kenya and is not a licensed advocate.”
“It has been brought to the attention of the LSK Nairobi Branch through the Rapid Action Team (RAT), that the man has been presenting and conducting himself as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of LSK Nairobi Branch,” Read a section of the notice.
He is currently detained at the RAT headquarters while awaiting further investigation.
