Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, are said to be “taking a break” based on the reported intervention of her friends. The couple, married in December 2022, has been experiencing time apart since mid-October.
“Her family has never been a fan of Ye, and those close to her have questioned whether marrying him was the right decision,” a source told the outlet Friday.
“He is a very difficult person to be around and work for, and Bianca has been one of the most patient people ever to deal with him. She’s been all about Ye.”
The insider observed that while the rapper “has experienced increased happiness and focus with her presence,” their relationship appears to have “affected her somewhat, given everyone expressing their opinions.”
West, 46, currently residing in a transformed luxury complex/recording studio in Saudi Arabia, is reportedly deeply engrossed in creating new music with Ty Dolla $ign and is consequently “not overly concerned” about the state of his marriage.
“[Censori] may go back to him for the album launch — she loves the lifestyle — but I think it’s clear her family and friends would rather she didn’t,” the source claimed, adding that the Grammy winner’s biggest concern at the moment is “finding distribution after losing so many connections due to his antisemitic remarks last year.”
Representatives for West and Censori did not promptly reply to Page Six’s inquiries for comment.
In recent weeks, the Yeezy founder journeyed to the Middle East, while Censori, 28, an architect for a fashion company, spent time with longtime friends in her native Australia, where her family, resembling the Kardashians, resides.
“Her friends let her know exactly how they feel, and they told her that she needs to wake the f–k up,” a source told the Daily Mail earlier this week, going on to say that Censori’s loved ones were finally “able to get through to her.”
“She knows that she has shut out those close to her, and she is also starting to see through the smoky mirrors of her marriage,” the source continued, adding that she is both “aware of Kanye’s controlling ways” and “starting to see things from an outside perspective.”
Indeed, it is asserted that Censori “opted to return home” after it became evident that West wouldn’t be including her in his recent journey.
Recent reports suggest growing concern within her inner circle, contending that she feels “trapped” due to the “barriers Kanye has imposed [around her].”
Allegedly, the musician has established a set of regulations for Bianca, including directives to “maintain silence,” “adhere to specific attire chosen by him,” “consume particular food items,” and “engage in exercise, despite Kanye’s lack of physical activity.”
Initially, Censori reportedly showed little interest in engaging in conversations or heeding “anyone’s expressions of concern for her.”
