Israel-Hamas Conflict: WHO calls on Israel to revoke the hospital evacuation order.

The World Health Organization has called on Israel to lift the hospital evacuation directive for northern Gaza.

“There are patients who are there that cannot simply be moved, many there are on mechanical ventilators.

“There are also newborns on incubators, people in unstable conditions, and it’s very difficult to move them,” WHO spokesman, Tarik Jašarević said on Monday.

He said the task was “almost impossible.”

“We are calling on Israel to reconsider this order,” Jašarević said.
So far, four trucks carrying surgical and dressing materials as well as medicines for chronic illnesses have been brought into Gaza through the Rafah border crossing, the spokesman said.

“But that is not nearly enough.”

Additional trucks are prepared on the Egyptian border; however, there is currently a lack of security assurances for the safe delivery of supplies.

This situation follows a recent explosion at a Gaza hospital, reportedly resulting in the deaths of 500 individuals and leaving numerous others trapped beneath debris.

According to intelligence reports, the Israeli military has asserted that the strike on al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City was the result of a misfired rocket by Palestinian Islamic Jihad militants.

Hamas rejected Israel’s ‘evidence’ regarding the responsible party for the tragic Gaza hospital bombing, labeling it an ‘outrageous falsehood,’ despite the ‘IDF presenting evidence to the contrary.’
