In Edo, a mother of four was brutally killed by her neighbor and his son.

In Edo State, Mrs. Nata Igbinovia, a mother of four, was tragically killed while trying to break up a fight.

The incident occurred on Saturday night, April 27, 2024, in Okpagha-Ewuare, Eyaen quarters, Benin City. The suspects, Ayo Mr. Philip and his son, were involved.

According to Patience, the victim’s daughter, her mother was attempting to stop a fight between her nephew and their neighbors when the suspects attacked her with a knife and an axe.

Despite efforts to intervene, Mrs. Igbinovia sustained fatal injuries.

The suspects fled the scene before help arrived.

A neighbor transported the victim to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The Eyaen police division is investigating the incident.
