A Nigerian man has criticized fellow Nigerians residing in London for their perceived stinginess towards their compatriots back home.

the man remarked that while Nigerians in places like Manchester and France demonstrate generosity, those based in West and North London are notably tightfisted, often unwilling to part with even a mere £500.
He lamented that instead of offering financial assistance, individuals in these areas prefer to engage in lengthy video calls, gossip, and delegate errands.
Speaking in Yoruba, he expressed disappointment with the lack of love and support from London-based Nigerians compared to their counterparts elsewhere.
He cited examples of Nigerians in Manchester and France who freely give financial assistance, contrasting their behavior with those in London who prioritize their pounds and fail to extend help to their fellow countrymen.
The man emphasized his preference for visiting Manchester over London, given the perceived generosity of its residents.
