Taylor Swift’s father, Scott

Taylor Swift’s father, Scott, is currently under investigation for reportedly assaulting paparazzi in Australia.

According to the New South Wales Police Media Unit, an alleged assault was reported to them on Sydney’s North Shore on Tuesday morning, with photographer Ben McDonald filing the complaint.

It was reported that a physical altercation occurred between a 71-year-old man believed to be Scott and a 51-year-old man, identified as McDonald, at Neutral Bay Wharf around 2 AM Tuesday as the former was leaving the area.

Following the alleged incident, authorities are now actively investigating to ascertain the sequence of events and determine if any criminal activity occurred.

Notably, the alleged victim did not require medical attention. Ben McDonald, who appears to have filmed a portion of the altercation, was present during the incident.

In the video footage, McDonald is seen operating the camera as Scott and a team of security guards escort him away from the dock area.

As Scott approaches, a security guard holding an umbrella appears to obstruct McDonald’s view, leading to a perceived scuffle.

McDonald, speaking to the Daily Mail, mentioned Taylor Swift’s presence alongside Scott during the incident.

They were reportedly arriving from Homebush on a yacht.

Despite the incident, neither Taylor nor Scott has publicly addressed the matter.
