According to rumours, the ‘OBO’ crooner received three Grammy nominations for tracks from his 2023 studio album ‘Timeless’ before of the 2024 Grammy Awards.

Davido responded with joy on his X Twitter, noting that delay is not denial.

Meanwhile, Davido has spoken out about how his father, Adedeji Adeleke, cancelled several of his music events, making many people afraid to book him.
Davido revealed this in a recent interview on the ‘Kelly Clarkson Show,’ claiming that his father wanted him to succeed in school before pursuing a career in music.
The multi-award-winning musician claimed he had a contract with his father about attending classes and having time in the studio for his music, but things changed when his music became more popular.
Davido also stated that he is the first popular singer in his family’s heritage in the Nigerian music industry.
