An Igbo man explains to his fellow tribe members that paternity fraud isn’t a thing in Igbo culture

A man asserted on X that Igbo culture does not acknowledge paternity fraud.

He wrote: “In Igbo culture, paternity fraud isn’t acknowledged, which can be difficult for some Igbo men to accept.

Once the bride price is paid, the child belongs to the person who paid it, regardless of biological parentage.”
