Activist Deji Adeyanju has forecasted that under President Tinubu’s administration, the Dollar could reach a value of 5,000 Naira, citing the Federal Government and the Central Bank of Nigeria as being completely clueless. In a late-night tweet on Tuesday, February 27, he stated:
“I predict the Dollar will sell for N5,000 under Tinubu. Remember I said this.
The lack of direction in the FG and CBN is evident.
Understanding their actions in the CBN would evoke despair for our nation. The superficial glamour associated with Cardi B will soon fade away.”
In a subsequent tweet, he called for an immediate cessation of salary payments to all Nigerian politicians, emphasizing the need for sacrificial measures:
“It’s time to halt all salary payments to Nigerian politicians. Let everything become sacrificial. This is the only viable path forward.”
