Governor AbdulRazaq has expressed delight at the outstanding performance of 31 Kwara State students in the recent Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Among them, Master Samuel Olanrewaju Oluwasemilore of Government Secondary School, Omu Aran, stood out with an impressive score of 358.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor AbdulRazaq commended the achievements of the students from various public and private schools across the state. Notably, 30 students from Eucharistic Heart of Jesus Model College in Kwara recorded scores ranging from 355 to 300.

The Governor emphasized the significance of such accomplishments as inspirations for younger generations to strive for excellence in their studies, bringing pride to their families and communities. He highlighted the broader successes in the education sector, including Kwara’s representation at the World School Debate in Singapore.

To further enhance learning outcomes, Governor AbdulRazaq announced the approval of statewide coverage for the tech-based learning program, KwaraLEARN. Additionally, plans are underway to launch the Kwara State Education Trust Fund, aimed at bolstering resources and accountability in the sector.

The exemplary performance of students like Olukayode Olusola from Government Secondary School, Omu Aran, who scored 362 marks, reflects the dedication and potential within Kwara’s education system.”
