Gunmen fatally shot George Johnson Sopruchi, a printer, near Emenike on Abakiliki Street in Mile 1 Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The incident occurred on Saturday night, March 16.
According to an eyewitness, the gunmen trailed Sopruchi to Abakiliki Street around 8:30 pm and opened fire while he was engaged in conversation. Following the shooting, the gunmen fled with Sopruchi’s motorcycle and one of his mobile phones. Bystanders rushed Sopruchi to the hospital,
where he was pronounced dead on Sunday morning, March 17.
