Couple and their 3-month-old baby die in Kebbi fire incident
In Jega Local Government Area of Kebbi State, a couple and their 3-month-old baby tragically lost their lives in a fire outbreak.
Musibau Abubakar, identified as the man, along with his wife and daughter, perished when fire engulfed their home on the night of Wednesday, February 7, 2024. Meanwhile, Governor Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has extended a compassionate gesture by donating N10 million to Musibau’s family and N50 million to traders whose shops were ravaged by fire in Jega last month.
The Governor made the donations during a condolence visit to the family residence of the deceased and the site of the market inferno on Thursday, February 8.
He expressed prayers for the departed souls and urged family members and friends to continuously remember the deceased in their supplications.
Governor Idris described the inferno as an act of God and emphasized the importance of seeking divine mercy for the departed.
