Reports indicate that the altercation between the suspect and his father escalated into a physical confrontation within their residence, situated opposite Junior Secondary School, Amuzukwu in Umuahia North council, Abia state.
During the altercation, the suspect fatally attacked his father and removed his left eye.
Locals in the area allege that the suspect had intentions of using his father for ritual purposes before his arrest.
As of now, the state police command has not issued a statement regarding the incident.
