A woman has passed away following a reported adventure with her boyfriend in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State.
The occurrence took place on a Monday at a guest house located within the Temidire neighborhood, Offa Garage area of the city.
According to local sources, the man, who owns a barbershop, had consumed drugs in an attempt to impress his girlfriend, but the situation took a negative turn.
“Reportedly, the girl became fatigued during their intimate encounter and tragically passed away.”
According to the account, the man sounded an alert when the woman apparently lost consciousness, drawing the attention of the guest house staff. The lady was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, where her unfortunate demise was confirmed.
Following the guest house owner’s report to the Police ‘A’ Division in Ilorin, the middle-aged man, who was the lady’s boyfriend, was subsequently taken into custody.
While the Kwara Police Command’s spokesperson, Okasanmi Ajayi, acknowledged the incident, he stated that it is currently under investigation.
“The state police command has arrested the man involved while full investigations have commenced to know what actually happened between the man and the deceased, he said.”
