In a video posted during the inauguration, Gboyega Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary to the Lagos State Governor, mentioned, “Governor @jidesanwoolu in company of his deputy @drobafemihamzat formally commissioned the Yaba overpass bridge . The overpass bridge is part of the Red Line project.”
“There are five overpass bridges constructed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to eliminate the interaction between vehicular traffic and train services. Three out of the four remaining Bridges are completed and ready for commissioning in a few weeks.”
“The fourth bridge, which is in Mushin would be ready before the end of the year. The red line services when fully operational would transport more than 1 million passengers everyday.”
