Video: Christian mothers share their reactions if they discover their husbands are involved in an affair with their sister.

Woman 1: I’ll pray and hope God changes my husband’s heart one day.

Woman 2: It’s not my husband’s fault; it’s my sister’s fault. I’ll show extra love to my husband, and I’ll confront my sister.

When the pastor inquired if the second woman provided the right answer, all the women responded together, saying, “yes.”

Woman 3: First, why would I snoop into my husband’s phone? We were taught not to do that.

Secondly, let’s say I mistakenly check his phone and discover such a thing, I’ll go to our parents and request them to talk to my sister about leaving my husband. I’ll ask my sister to return to our parents’ home so they can advise her to leave my man and find someone else to marry.

As for my husband, I won’t let him know that I found out anything. Instead, I’ll work on improving my character if it needs enhancement. I’ll support it with prayers.

Woman 5: First, I won’t let anyone else know about it. I’ll keep it a secret. Then, I’ll confront my sister.

If there’s a religious place my husband respects, we’ll go there for advice.

I heard of a similar real-life situation. The wife went to their pastor, got counseling, and the couple reconciled. They eventually asked the sister to leave.

At that moment, the Reverend said, “They answered it correctly; let’s move on to another topic.”

Later, Woman 6 stood up and added, “If you kick out your sister, your husband might continue the relationship secretly. So, be wise. Talk to your sister in a way she can understand, and find someone your husband respects to advise him.

Also, if there’s anything you’re doing wrong, fix those mistakes because there must be a reason why your husband looked elsewhere.”

These women who provided answers are part of a women’s fellowship where they learn how to be better wives.
