Victor Boniface, the forward for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has earned a nomination as one of the Bundesliga’s most skilled players this season due to his remarkable performances for Bayer Leverkusen, the current league leaders.
At just 23 years old, Boniface has clinched four consecutive Rookie of the Month awards in the German top flight, solidifying his status as one of the standout signings of the season.
Nominated for his exceptional individual performance during Leverkusen’s Bundesliga encounter against RB Leipzig at the Bay Arena in August 2023, Boniface showcased brilliance.
In that match, he executed a crafty feint, tricking his opponent into expecting a right-footed shot before cleverly passing the ball with his left foot.
Leverkusen secured victory with a 3-2 scoreline.
Boniface will compete for the Bundesliga Skillful Player Award alongside Borussia Dortmund returnee Jadon Sancho, Hoffenheim’s Andrej Kramaric, and RB Leipzig youngster Xavi Simons.
