In Nasarawa, the gubernatorial election tribunal has ruled in favor of David Umbugadu of the PDP, overturning Governor Abdullahi Sule’s victory from the March 18, 2023, election.
Justice Ezekiel Ajayi and two other justices concluded that Governor Sule’s election was invalid.
INEC had announced Sule as the winner in the state’s gubernatorial election, securing 327,229 votes, while David Ombugadu of the PDP garnered a total of 184,281 votes.
