Ambulance Claims Three Lives In Abia State.
In the Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State, three people have perished after being struck by a speeding ambulance.
Three people were killed, and several others were critically injured when a black Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) used for ambulance services struck some tricycles and motorcycles in front of the Dacoo Petrol Station in Umuafukwu/Umuagwa village, located along Ikot Ekpene Road in Obingwa LGA.
The SUV was reportedly travelling at top speed at the time of the incident. On Thursday, Nov. 23, at noon, the accident happened.
The driver kept speeding after the collision until he collided with a nearby bush.
For medical attention, the injured victims have been transported to a hospital.
This occurs one week after a forty-foot container at Ogbor Hill in Aba toppled off a truck, crushing several cars and killing a few people.
