Demain Okoligwe and His Girlfriend Justina Otuene
The authorities in Rivers State have verified accounts of the slaying of a University of Port Harcourt 300-level student named Justina Otuene by Demain Okoligwe, a fellow student at the institution in the 400th level, reportedly her boyfriend.

The police chief mentioned that they apprehended the fugitive, Demain Okoligwe, a 24-year-old student in the 400th level of Petrochemical Engineering at UNIPORT, who was also the boyfriend of the deceased.
CP Emeka added that the lifeless and mutilated remains of Justina Otuene, a 20-year-old student in the 300th level of Biochemistry at Uniport, were discovered and placed in the mortuary.
He stated that initial inquiries are currently underway, and the matter has been handed over to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for a thorough examination.
He expressed his condolences to the deceased victim’s family and advised young women to exercise caution and prudence in their relationships with anyone.
