The 17 military officers slain in Okuama, Delta State, have now been brought to the National Military Cemetery in Abuja for burial.
This tragic event occurred during a peacekeeping mission on March 14 when irate youths attacked, resulting in the loss of four officers and 13 soldiers. Today, ambulances carrying their remains arrived at the cemetery.
