“Three Suspected Kidnappers Arrested in Nasarawa; Confession and Manhunt Underway”
“In Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, police operatives from Mararaba ‘A’ Division apprehended three suspects – Babangida Abdullahi (29), Mohammed Abubakar (27), and Yakubu Sani (30) – on charges of kidnapping.
According to DSP Ramhan Nansel, the spokesperson for the command, the suspects allegedly conspired and threatened Ibrahim Idris, demanding a ransom of N2 million.
Fearing for his safety, the victim complied, dropping the sum at their preferred location.
The suspects confessed to the crime, and efforts are underway to apprehend a fourth member of the syndicate who narrowly escaped arrest.”
