Singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, spent the night at the Lagos State Police headquarters in Ikeja after his arrest on Tuesday, May 14.
The arrest stemmed from unpaid debt for his G-Wagon, as reported by LIB. Portable allegedly purchased the vehicle for N27 million, paid only N13 million, and refused to settle the remaining N14 million balance.
Despite efforts to resolve the issue, including claims of vehicle faults, the car dealer filed a petition leading to Portable’s arrest. The police obtained a warrant of arrest and apprehended him.
