Late Samuel Barida
Tragic News Unfolds in Bayelsa State: Samuel Barida, an On-Air-Personality at 95.5 Royal FM, discovered lifeless in his apartment on Monday, October 16.
A statement from the radio station’s management reveals that the affectionately known ‘Mr. Gorgeous’ passed away in his living quarters located at the station’s Agudama-Epie staff residence in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State.
His remains have now been entrusted to the care of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) mortuary in Yenagoa.
Before his untimely passing, Barida, originally from Ogoni in Rivers state, served as the NUJ Chapel chairman of Royal FM.
He leaves behind his father, mother, sister, and other beloved family members.
