Nollywood actor, Okonkwo wishes Nigerians elect Peter Obi as


Actor-cum-politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has asked God to grant his greatest birthday wish by making the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi win the 2023 poll.

He noted that as he turned 54 on Sunday, his biggest birthday wish is for God to grant Nigeria a new beginning with respect to her leaders while thanking Him for the blessing of another year in his life.

Okonkwo, known for his role in the movie Living in Bondage as Andy Okeke. wished the Almighty touches the hearts of the citizens so that they would unanimously cast their votes for the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi in the 2023 polls.

In his words: “As it has pleased God to make me see a new year today, 6th of November, 2022, my greatest birthday wish is that God will give Nigeria a new beginning by making Nigerians elect a new divinely ordained President and Vice President in Peter Obi and Datti Baba Ahmed come 2023. God bless you as you rejoice and pray for me on this glorious day of my life.”

aprokovibes.com (TNG) reports that in 2013 Okonkwo won the African Movie Academy Award on a Special Recognition of Pillars of Nollywood.

In 2015, he was given a special recognition award by the organisers of the City People Entertainment Awards for his contribution to the growth of entertainment in Nigeria.

Okonkwo had asserted that Obi is the best and only choice for Nigerians in the 2023 presidential elections.

He also berated the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, for deepening corruption in the nation’s governance.
