Senator Shehu Sani
In the face of increasing cases of illegal organ harvesting in the country, former lawmaker Senator Shehu Sani suggests to Nigerians not to sell their organs. Sani emphasizes that despite tough economic times, people should avoid selling their kidneys or testicles to secret clinics.
He wrote, “No matter the economic situation, don’t be lured to sell your kidney or testicles to those evil Abuja underground clinics.”
According to reports, many Nigerians have raised concerns recently about a growing black market and illicit activities related to organ donation, harvesting, and transplantation in the country.
This comes in response to reports indicating a rise in the unlawful extraction of organs from individuals without their consent, often for transplantation or commercial purposes.
