Monday evening witnessed a lively discussion on social media as Nigerians amusingly voiced their concerns about the rampant influx of counterfeit products in the Nigerian market.

In sharing their perspectives on these products, users humorously conveyed their apprehensions, providing comparisons between various samples found in the market and their authentic counterparts.

It is worth noting that on December 17, 2023, the renowned Nigerian artist, Buju Benson, raised alarms about the abundance of counterfeit and adulterated alcoholic beverages being dispensed in clubs. In doing so, he highlighted the possible health risks and financial setbacks encountered by clubgoers.

The artist conveyed his dissatisfaction with the state of affairs, underscoring the considerable sums expended on what he deemed as “overpriced drinks.”
