Hilda Baci’s Guinness World Record was surpassed by Irish chef Alan Fisher, who achieved the Longest Cooking Marathon by an Individual by preparing dishes for an astounding 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan.

Alan Fisher, hailing from Ireland and serving as the owner and chef of a restaurant in Japan, has achieved the remarkable feat of breaking two Guinness World Records related to cooking.

To begin with, he secured the title for the Longest Cooking Marathon (Individual) by clocking an impressive duration of 119 hours and 57 minutes. This duration surpassed the previous record, held by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, by more than 24 hours.

Subsequently, Alan also clinched the title for the Longest Baking Marathon (Individual), having completed a time of 47 hours and 21 minutes. The previous record holder, Wendy Sandner from the USA, had held the title with a time of 31 hours and 16 minutes.

What’s even more astonishing is that Alan undertook both challenges consecutively, meaning he spent over 160 hours working in the kitchen with just a little over a day of rest in between!
