NEMA Gives Help Stuff to People Affected by Fighting in Taraba.

Workers from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in Yola, along with the Taraba State Emergency Management Agency, gave out help stuff to people hit by the fighting between Karinjo and Wurkum communities in Karim Lamido local government area.

They gave out things like food, mats, buckets, mattresses, and more.

The caption read, “Following the Director General’s approval for relief distribution to the affected persons, the officials of NEMA Yola Operations office, in collaboration with the Taraba State Emergency Management Agency distributed relief materials to the aforementioned affected communities.

“During the distribution exercise in Jalingo, Cyprian Agwunwa, representing the Director General, stated that the relief materials are a manifestation of the federal government’s support through NEMA, aimed at alleviating and mitigating the sufferings of the affected persons.

“He further encouraged both communities to embrace peace and harmony. “The Executive Chairman of Karim Lamido, Bitrus Dan Jos, expressed gratitude to the Federal Government on behalf of the beneficiaries for their assistance and assured the team of the proper utilisation of the items by the beneficiaries.”
